Baby Mila is sick
My 9 month old granddaughter is sick. She’s been sick off and on all winter with colds and little fevers. This last bout, her mommy took her to the doctor, and each time the answer was it’s a cold. Last week she took her again, and it was decided “she has an upper respiratory infection” but nothing was given to her, it was assumed she’d get over it on her own.
Yesterday afternoon she suddenly became lethargic, wasn’t eating, and started running a fever again. Candice’s (daughter in law) mother told her it was time to “get a second opinion.” They took her to the nearby hospital ER, where they did a very thorough work-up on her. Blood tests, chest x-ray etc.
The diagnosis: a slight case of pneumonia! I think it’s good they caught it this early in the game. They prescribed antibiotics for her and sent them home.
Please pray for her?
I haven’t posted for a while due to being busy with another college class, teaching, etc., and remodeling another bathroom/bedroom (yes, again!). I’ll be finished school in May or June, the bathroom will be done in a week and a half or so, then I can breathe again. I do read your posts, enjoy them very much, and sometimes even comment:) I pray for you too.

Sorry to hear about your grandbaby but glad that she will be on her way to feeling better soon. Have fun redecorating we didn’t do anything this winter and I kind of miss it.
